Seven Days N.S.S. camp organized by BFSSS
A seven days N.S.S. camp was organized
by BFSSS at village Buladewala (District Bathinda) from 01-06-2013 to
07-06-2013 under the guidance of Mr. Jasvir Singh (Co-ordinator, Social
Welfare, N.S.S. & N.C.C., BFSSS). A total of 50 students participated in
the camp. During this camp various places of the village as Gurudwara Sahib,
Temple, School, Streets, village other common places etc. cleaned by the
students. On each day of the camp various activities were planned for the
students. Student attended lectures by the various experts like Sh. B.D. Sharma
(Deputy Director, Activities, BFGI), Mrs. Amritpal Kaur (Co-ordinator, Social
Welfare, BFGI) and Mr. Baljinder Singh (Principal, BFSSS). People were made
aware about the evils prevailing in our society. They also hold rally and
pleaded the villagers to step forward to save environment, water, girl child
and to say no to drugs. A stall of sweet water was also organized during the
camp. At the last day of this camp felicitation ceremony was held at BFGI.Mr. Kamaljeet Singh Sidhu (Distt.
Assistant Director, Youth Services) was the guest of honour.He provided medals to all N.S.S.
volunteers. He also motivated and encouraged the students to participate in
such activities in future also. S. Harpal Singh (Deputy Director, Facility
Management, BFGI) and Sh. B.D. Sharma (Deputy Director Activities, BFGI), Vice
Principal and HODs of various departments were also present in this ceremony. Chairman
of BFGI, S. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal appreciated the student as well as staff for
organizing the camp. Principal of BFSSS, Mr. Baljinder Singh thanked all the
guests and gave his blessings to the students.
