Anti Tobacco day was celebrated by BFSSS
Keeping in mind about the healthy
society anti- tobacco day was celebrated by BFSSS. On the occasion Dr. Ajay
Sahni (C.M.O., Bathinda), Dr. R. S. Randhawa (Distt. Health Officer) and Ms.
Usha Singla (Media Officer) were the dignitaries who shared their views on
drugs with the students of 10+1 Science and a warm welcome note was given by Mr.
B. D. Sharma (Deputy Director Activities, BFGI). The students of BFSSS,
Raminder Sharma, Ramneet Kaur and Navroop Kaur students of 10+2 presented their
song, speech and poem respectively related to the subject. A presentation about
drugs was presented by Dr. R. S. Randhawa and he also recited a poem on drugs.
A speech was presented by Dr. Ajay Sahni (C.M.O., Bathinda). He told the
students about the bad effects of drugs and a pledge ceremony was also
organized by him for not using drugs. It is announced by the Principal of BFSSS
that those students will be honoured who will aware their relatives, family
members, friends, villagers or any person who is drug addicted for not using
drugs. At the end, the guest were
honored by S. Harpal Singh (Deputy Director, Facility Management, BFGI, Mr. B.
D. Sharma & Principal, BFSSS. Words of thanks were delivered by Principal
of BFSSS, S Baljinder Singh. Chairman of BFGI, S Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal also
appreciated the efforts of school and also hope that the students will
contribute for making society healthy.
