At BFSSS, International day for preservation
of ozone layer was celebrated on 16th Sept., 2013 under the theme ‘Protecting
our atmosphere for generations to come’. On this occasion, valuable views were
shared with the students of 10+1 Medical by Ms. Meenakshi (Lect. in Geography,
BFC) on the above said topic. The main motive of the lecture was to make the
students aware about the protection of ozone layer. The expert said that
chlorofloro carbon should be minimised to reduce the depletion of ozone layer. Students
also participated enthusiastically in the session and they asked questions and
relevant answers were given by the expert. At the end, vote of thanks was
delivered by Vice-Principal of BFSSS, Ms. Navninder Kaur. S. Baljinder Singh,
Principal of BFSSS and S. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman of BFSSS appreciated
the efforts of staff for conducting such lectures.
